There are many experiences available today that allow individuals to drive performance cars on a variety of UK circuits. But our experience has shown that not everyone wants to drive; for many, sitting back and enjoying the thrill of high speed passenger laps in the safe hands of a professional driver is a much greater thrill and guaranteed to set the heart rate racing. It is also apparent that most passenger ride experiences are over in a instant, costing a lot of money with very limited track time. That's where the Thunderstruck experience is different… settle into the specialist carbon fibre race seats, tighten up the full race harness and brace yourself for a 20 minute session of blistering track action that will blow you away!

Please note:

  • Participants must be 16 years or over and accompanied by an adult if under 18
  • We strongly advise that you bring warm and wet weather clothing
  • Passengers must sign in with Thunderstruck at least 40 minutes prior to session

Track Day Driver Tuition

  • Novice track day drivers taking their first steps into the track day arena

Thunderstruck Ltd offer one-on-one Association of Racing Driver's Schools (ARDS) tuition in your own car to get you driving smoother and faster. quickly! In just a few sessions with an ARDS instructor even experienced track day drivers are astonished at how much quicker they can drive and with less effort. On the day an ARDS registered Thunderstruck instructor will quickly assess your driving style before getting to work improving your technique in areas such as:

  • Driving position
  • Car balance and weight transfer
  • Optimal lines
  • Setting the car up on the approach to corners
  • Braking technique
  • Gear changes
  • Corner entry, clipping points and exit points
  • Throttle balance and application
  • How the throttle and steering input work together
  • Being 'smooth' and 'progressive'
